Here are some tips to help you in future campaigns: 

Have a focus 

Find your Instagram niche, and stick with it! It’s great to see influencers being passionate, whether you’re an art lover, foodie, fitness enthusiast, blogger or activist. 

When someone visits your profile, they should be able to tell what kind of influencer you are. Be genuine about it too, or else your fellow fans might be able to sniff it out! Experiment with different styles for your page – colour schemes, themed posts, or even minimalist photos.

Pre-campaign insights

All our influencers who sign up with ITTIFY must have a business account linked to your Facebook page. You’ll need the Facebook page to log in to our app! 

If you are still using a personal profile, please switch to a business account Instagram profile and connect to a page. Once you own a business profile, you have the tools to grow your reach and engagement! You’ll be able to find insights such as gender, age-range and location. You’ll find posts and stories with the highest engagement there. 

It’s important to understand how to read your pre-campaign insights. All potential clients will be able to view your insights and it will influence their decision. 

Post-campaign insights 

Once you’ve completed a campaign, it’s time to focus on your post-campaign insights. This allows you to see if you have executed the campaign well! Clients will have full access to this page too. 

When it comes to reading post-campaign insights, clients will pay attention to the Reach and Impression count. Reach refers to the total unique number of people who have seen your content (it can be divided into organic and paid). Impression refers to the number of times your post or content has been displayed. Clients will also look at the number of likes, comments, shares and saves, which is equally as important! 

Add relevant hashtags 

Did you know? Just by using one Instagram hashtag, you’ll gain 12.6% more engagement than posts without a hashtag. Instagram currently allows a maximum of 30 hashtags for each post and 10 hashtags per story. However, it’s not necessary to hit the maximum amount daily. It’s more crucial to find relevant hashtags to use that will drive people to your page. 

If you’re unsure about the hashtags to use, here’s a simple way to search for more hashtags. All you have to do is type your hashtag into Instagram’s search bar, select “tags” from the menu below and you’ll be able to scroll through hashtags that are closely related to yours! 

Although there’s no hard-and-fast rule about Instagram hashtags, you need to test it for yourself and find out what works! 

Stay up to date

Be consistent in your updates and stay up-to-date with the latest trends. Everyone loves an influencer who is active on social media! 

Whether it’s memes, pop culture reference, latest news, hit songs, or whatever you’re interested in, talk about it. If it’s viral, cash in on it.
